Tcl'2002 Registration

We are pleased to bring you the 9th Annual Tcl/Tk conference (Tcl'2002), sponsored by ActiveState . This conference is a forum to:

• bring together Tcl/Tk researchers and practitioners
• publish and present current work involving Tcl/Tk
• learn about the latest developments in Tcl/Tk
• plan for future Tcl/Tk related developments

Conference Location

The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Georgia . This is a classic hotel located right in downtown Vancouver. There is a special conference rate of CAD$139/night (~US$90) single or double occupancy. The rate holds until August 31st, but it is best to reserve early as mid-September is still high-season and rooms are limited. To receive the rate, you must contact the hotel directly (US and Canada toll-free 1-800-663-1111) and mention the "Tcl Conference" or "ActiveState". If you wish to stay extra time before or after the conference, you will still receive the special conference rate.

Registration Information

Technical Sessions (Wednesday to Friday) registration includes:

• Access to all conference technical sessions
• Access to evening BOFs and community meetings
• One set of proceedings on CD
• Breakfast and morning and evening snack breaks

Each tutorial is one half-day session (3 hours instruction time + one break). Tutorials have limited space. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tutorial Sessions (Monday and Tuesday) registration includes:

• Access to all registered tutorial sessions
• Complete course handouts
• Snack break during the tutorial

Transportation

It will not be necessary to rent a car for the duration of the conference. Located in downtown Vancouver, everything is accessible by foot. You can reach the Hotel Georgia from the airport by taxi (~CAD$25 one way) or with the Airporter Bus (CAD$12 one way), which stops at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please email [email protected]. Cancellations received before September 1st will be refunded the full registration less a $100 processing charge. After September 1st, all fees less $200 will be refunded.
